Our Sushi Gurus are the heart of our mission at Hanami Sushi Bar. They provide quality and detail in every piece of sushi we make in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment. We hire those who embody this and based on teamwork, enthusiasm and professionalism. Hanami is seeking highly experienced, personable, and self-motivated individuals to join our family. Working under the direction of the Sous Guru, the Sushi Guru must efficiently work within a high-pressure environment to successfully support various functions or pre-set menu specifications while ensuring compliance with all safety, health and food handling guidelines.

Servers are responsible for providing friendly and enthusiastic service to create an exceptional dining experience for all our guests. This role is best suited for a personable and organized individual with exceptional multi-tasking skills who is confident in their ability to provide our guests with a marvelous experience that they will want to repeatedly return and tell their friends.

Hosts

Are you loved at first sight?

Hanami Hosts & Hostesses are the first point of contact for guests visiting Hanami Sushi Bar and are critical to ensuring an exceptionally high level of service is received by each and every guest that walk through our doors. Best suited for a boisterous, out-going and organized individual, this role is responsible for taking reservations, managing traffic flow of guests and ensuring that each guest is provided with service amazing as our food.

Supervisor Superstars

Are you the Jack of All Trades?

We depend on Hanami Supervisors to oversee all aspects of our operations, while being fun, approachable and dependable. Some of the duties of the Superstars are to co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food, estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, establish methods to meet work schedules, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, and train staff in job duties. Yeah, it’s a lot, that’s why we call them Superstars.
